ICO is coming: Live Stars — are they serious?
09/01/2017

Overview from the team kript.io

What is Live Stars: an adult streaming platform for getting in touch with your fav webcam model.
Project: they merely want to decrease the role of intermediaries in the webcam business and bring customers complete anonymity.

Website: livestars.io

Analog: LiveJasmin.

How they differ from the competitors: commission is usually higher in the webcam business: you need to spend money on the customer office and accounting. Live Stars will link models with clients directly through a smart contract — it's cheaper. Payment by a cryptocurrency provides anonymity, private chats and correspondence are encrypted and not stored on the company's servers. As a result, models make 2,5 times more than they used to.

How they want to make money:
commission from smart contacts between models and users.

Market size:
more than $150 million annually. LiveJasmin makes over €52 million every year.

What their token gives you:
an internal currency to pay for services on the platform.
Token price: during pre-ICO — $0,05. On ICO — $0,2. You can pay by ETH. Developers will release 200 million tokens in total. Unsold tokens will be frozen until the end of 2019.

How much they want to raise: pre-ICO — $1 million. ICO — $24 million

Where the money will go:
30% — platform development
60% — models and attraction marketing
10% — legal expenses
Crew: 4 people so far: 2 developers, an accountant, and a project manager. They are planning to expand—hire new programmers, marketers, and designers.

Free tokens: they promise to give away some but there is no info about this yet.

Project status: preparing for pre-ICO. They promise to release an alpha version by December 2018. A beta version is planned for the end of 2018.

Communication: twitter, facebook, medium, telegram, bitcointalk, github

Date of ICO:
November-December, 2017. Pre-ICO — September 21st, 2017.

Information on the landing page: ★★★★★
Disadvantages: in the white paper, developers explain that there are no guarantees of the project's success. In case of failure, they won't give the money back.
How clear is the project: ★★☆☆☆
