ICO is coming: Ambrosus — are they serious?
09/08/2017

Overview from the team kript.io

What is Ambrosus: an ecosystem to assure the quality, safety & origins of products.
Project: you come to the shop, and to check the information about the quality of product you scan it with a QR code. In the Ambrosus app, you see the whole path of the product: where it was produced, how long it took to deliver to the store shelves, and under what conditions it was stored.

To make a buyer get this information, a supplier needs to create a product card in the Ambrosus system and record its main characteristics: weight, storage temperature, humidity level, expiration date, etc. When the card is ready, it's certified by an electronic signature.

The owner of the restaurant/retail chain chooses the supplier in the Ambrosus service and orders the goods. There are sensors installed in the vehicles and containers that measure the conditions during transportation and automatically transmit the information to the Ambrosus system.

As a result, the collected info:
— helps farmers achieve fair prices
— ensures the safety of food supplies
— reveals to buyers the origin and the real ingredients of the products
